Arizona Department of Health Services

The ADHS operates programs in behavioral health, community public health, environmental health, emergency preparedness and regulation of health care providers and emergency services.

Arizona Health Care Cost Containment (AHCCCS)

AHCCCS is Arizona’s Medicaid agency that offers health care programs to serve Arizona residents. Individuals must meet certain income and other requirements to obtain services.

Arizona Opioid assistance and Referral Line (OAR)

This 24/7 opioid helpline is operated by the Arizona Poison and Drug Information Center at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy in Tucson and its counterpart at Banner Health in Phoenix. It is free and confidential and designed to assist people in getting the help that they need. The helpline number is 1-888-688-4222.

Healthy Pima

Healthy Pima is Pima County’s community health task force of individuals, public, community, and business organizations that have joined forces to improve community health by mobilizing resources, increasing awareness, promoting change, and taking collective action.

Narcotics Anonymous

Narcotics Anonymous is a fellowship group that is offered as a self-help support system for those who find themselves struggling with addiction to drugs such as cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription drugs or a range of other potentially dangerous and highly addictive substances.

Old Pueblo Community Services

Provides support for individuals working toward community re-entry following homelessness, incarceration, or military service.

Pima Community Access Program

PCAP links low-income uninsured residents of Pima County to affordable resources.

National Alliance on Mental Illness Southern Arizona

NAMISA is the Southern Arizona affiliate of NAMI,  dedicated to improving the lives of millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
